Why is Norfolk and Waveney ICS creating a digital flexible staff pool?
To help mitigate staff shortages and increase fill rates, Norfolk and Waveney ICB has partnered with Lantum, a staffing tool that makes it easier for you to ill shift gaps with clinicians from across your region.

Having access to a staff pool will make it easier for you to fill shifts – even when cancellations are made at the last minute. This helps you to deliver services effectively and take pressure off your existing staff. It will also make it easier to collaborate with nearby practices and PCNs, and share unused resources.
To save money
Norfolk and Waveney IC is covering the cost of creating the digital flexible staff pool. Lantum routinely charges a 1% processing fee when booking staff from the pool, however the Norfolk and Waveney ICB have allocated funding to cover this cost, meaning practices will not be required to pay this fee for the duration of the contract.
